I came across this article Today and felt nostalgic seeing one of the most prolific goal scorers of the modern football history retire. I will never forget his hat-trick at Old Trafford back in 02/03, his performances during 1998 and 2002 World Cups. It is sad that he sustained that horrible knee injury - think how far he could have gone had that never happened. It is true that he had his ups and downs during those 18 years of his career but when he was at his peak, he was the best footballer in the world.

Ronaldo retires...
..and I am not talking about that diving wanker Cristiano Ronaldo. I am talking about the real Ronaldo - Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, a man who once inspired so many with his talent.

If you haven't heard about Ronaldo, because you are American (or for whatever other reason), here is a tribute video that I found on YouTube. Watch, enjoy and get educated about one of the most important figures of the footballing history.
